Don Bearie

Don is a versatile audio engineer with a rich background in genres ranging from jazz to metal. His dedication and enthusiasm ensure every project, whether acoustic or electronic, is completed with the utmost confidence. Don earned his degree in Music Industry Management from Ferris State University and furthered his education through DubSpot’s Music Theory and Production programs. He honed his engineering skills, taking a course with us through our Colorado Sound Media Labs before joining us as an intern.

Now, with nearly 8 years of experience as an engineer here at Colorado Sound Studios, Don has had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clients, including Jody Breeze (Boyz N’ Tha Hood), Eric Gunnison, Neyla Pekarek (formerly of The Lumineers), Lettuce, Sean Lennon, Blocboy JB, King Princess, Crunchyroll, Devotchka, Party Next Door, Gasoline Lollipops, and many others.

Don has also engineered numerous live gigs for renowned artists such as Halsey, OneRepublic, Portugal. The Man, Glass Animals, 311, and Niall Horan. Whether it’s a studio album or a live performance, Don is passionate about bringing your musical vision to life.
